Maths
At Old Earth School, we aspire for all pupils to build their confidence and skills in mathematics through daily lessons and cross-curricular activities. It is our intention to build every child’s fluency, reasoning and problem solving skills in order to achieve their maximum potential in this subject.
A comprehensive approach to calculation will underpin other areas of maths such as shape, space and measure with opportunities to both support and extend the full range of abilities including greater depth learners.
